Post Office Online ISA - Payments In
I recently opened a Post Office Online ISA, and my initial £100 deposit is now showing in my account. As I understand it, I can only make payments into this account by debit card or cheque. My First Direct debit card limit appears to be £10,000 in any rolling 30-day period. Depending on other spending on my card, does this…

Partial Cash ISA transfers to keep below the £85k limit
I recently wanted to transfer part (50%) of a Santander Cash ISA to a new Cash ISA with Cynergy but appear to only be allowed to transfer all the cash ISA. I wish to split my existing cash ISA into two others with separate providers in order to stay below the £85k FSCS guarantee. When I transferred my stocks and shares ISA…

Flexible ISA fund interest withdrawal (and adding back in)
I've just been reading a review of an ISA provider I've used for a few years and noticed there is a section on withdrawing interest and adding it back at a later date. I'll paste it below. It never occurred to me that it's possible to take out interest payments and pay them back in at a later date in that tax year. I've…

Basic question on Cash ISA after maturity dates
Hi. Can someone please help with what might be a basic question for some! My Santander cash ISA for 23/24 has matured and they have given me the option of upgrading it to a Fixed Rate Cash Isa at 4.15%. But I know there are higher rates out there for tax year 24/25 - plus I want to invest £20,000 for this tax year 24/25 in…

Trust & JISA - How to consolidate
Hi, I have a JISA for my son. After it was set up I found out his mum has a Trust Fund for him that she pays into regularly. Later, I discovered you cannot have both, so I need to try and combine them and JISA, being the newer product, seemed the best vehicle. The JISA is with Moneyfarm and they suggested that we transfer…

New ISA rules clarification on multiple accounts
I know in this new tax year we are able to open multiple ISA’s of the same type. I want to open ISAs with multiple banks, not just the one. Just wondering if this still stands or is it just that it hasn’t been updated yet. From Zopa’s website. Is it that they only allow multiple cash ISAs to be open with them only? Ie…

Question about total tax free allowance of Lloyds cash ISA over many years
Hi, hope you are all doing well. I opened a Lloyds Fixed Rate 1 year Cash ISA on March 30th and deposited 20.000 gbp. Since the financial year ended on April 5th, can I deposit another 20.000 in the same account in a month and get tax free interest for the entire 40.000? Thanks

Transferring in stocks and shares isa
I've already used my isa allowance for this year but would like to cash in a stocks and shares isa into a cash isa and then transfer in to another bank. As banks require me to open a cash isa first with an opening deposit, I assume the deposit will tip me over the 20k allowance. If I choose an easy access isa, can I simply…

ISA transfer to ZOPA - FAILED
Hi everyone, I was looking for some help/advice on what I should do next? I tried to do an ISA transfer mid December when Zopa started taking transfers, It still hasn't been completed and I currently have no access to my funds. After complaining to Zopa, I found out their system had no tolerance to accept funds greater…

Moneybox, should I leave?
I am concerned by this thread. In this tax year I have consolidated several previous years ISAs into Moneybox and only opened the Moneybox for that purpose. If I wanted to move them out of Moneybox now into an altogether different ISA is that allowed? Thank you I am not sure from what I have read here, if I should be…

Transferring from stocks and shares isa to multiple cash isas
Hi , I have read information on the Gov.UK site regarding the ISA rules but would appreciate your confirmation if the following is allowed. It would involve transferring 50% from a stocks and shares isa to two cash isa's ,one immediate access and the second a one year fixed term. The cash isas would probably be with two…

Hello, I'm think of opening a branch isa with PBS its currently 4.8% or somthing like that but will probably drop soon. I've never dealt with them before but are they fairly easy to deal with? I've heard that they can be old fashion in the way they do things, compared with other banks and BS. Thank you in advance for…

Aldermore ISA declaration states I can not subscribe to any other CASH ISA in 24-25
I received a copy of my ISA reactivation declaration from Aldermore. It clearly stated I am not aloud to open any other cash ISA this financial year. The following is on their Web site... Trading 212 easy access ISA 5.2% APY and 1% cashback. Too good to be true?
Hi all, This sounds just too good to be true and I wonder if I have missed anything or if this is just an account that beats all the other market offers at the moment? I am a bit confused... Trading 212 offers an ISA and offers 1% cashback (not counting towards an ISA allowance). The cashback is paid within 3 business days…

ISA Transfer in to Moneybox
My ISA is being transferred to Moneybox. However, Moneybox asked me to specify how much I was transferring in, so I looked at the most recent value and wrote that. Will they transfer it all including the most recent interest. I don't want to be left with a tiny amount in my old ISA.
