If you go to the Kaupthing Edge page and click the link there was a message stating all monies would be transfered by this Friday the 24th but it's been removed from their site overnight. Still waiting for £36k to my linked Barlcays account. Starting to go from worry to anger to dispair. Not sure how I can live. :(

Guaranteed income bond,tax rate?
I had a small amount in an AIG Guaranteed income bond that was repaid last week.(Phew!) When taken out I was told,since it has a wrapper as a life bond,tax will be deducted at 20%,and no further required even if you are a 40% tax payer. Anyone have experience of this to confirm please?
