Loft Conversion Floor Joists
I am trying to convert my loft into a 3rd bedroom a job that just gets bigger by the day. The joists in my loft are 6 x 2.5 and the ones on the floor below are 7x3. Are these adequate to convert my loft or will I need to add additional support to my loft joists?

Radiators hot upstairs, but cold downstairs!!!
Hi I drain my central heating system to put in some Fernox MB-1 and it all went well. However, after switching on the system, my radiators are hot upstairs but stone cold downstairs. What is wrong with it? I am willing to work through this fault by a process of elimination! Please help
