Sainsburys Online Groceries, Prices rise after I book slot.
Has anyone noticed prices change after you have booked your slot? The Tetley Pure Green Tea x50 is on offer at £1.50. I booked a slot for delivery next week and during the booked process the price magically went up to £2.15. I log in into the site without booking a slot and the price drops back down to £1.50, basically if…

Lidl expansion in London - 237 areas listed
Looks like Aldi and Lidl are getting into a store opening competition here. Aldi is family owned so they can suit themselves but I confess that I don't know whether that goes for Lidl too. If you live in any of the listed areas, what do you think ? Are there enough potential Lidl customers to support a store ? Where could…

Lists. Morrisons vs Sainsburys. Online Groceries
I get Morrisons delivered. I have created a large saved list of everything I usually need. I drop it into my trolley and delete any items I don’t want this time and add any extras. I was thinking of changing to Sainsburys but I couldn’t see how to create a list before shopping. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Same day delivery from Iceland
Excellent news as only Amazon Fresh doing this AFAIK. Iceland only offers free delivery if you spend £35 but if you spend over £25 I think delivery is £2. Over 400 stores will offer it eventually. Iceland rolling out big change that will make shopping easier for millions of customers (msn.com)

Good and Bad Buying at Lidl and Aldi (***Please don't expire***)
Hi All, This is the new Lidl and Aldi buying thread. Please report any good/bad deals, good/bad offers and good/bad products. I've broadened the scope slightly, so that discussion of customer service issues and experiences won't be off-topic. But please remember that the thread works best when it's the sum of our knowledge…

Lidli croissant
As a Francophile, I'm liking Lidl's croissants - they are a good size, flaky, respond well to gentle re-heating and best of all they're 37p each! Not quite up to French bakers' standards, but waaay better than all but freshly-baked from a real baker...

Shopping early - but when does fresh stuff get put out?
If the predicted heat wave ever arrives (or was that it yesterday?) I want to go supermarket shopping as early in the day as possible, probably at 7 am which is when Sainsbury's and Morrisons open here. However I remember years ago doing this at Morrisons but fresh things like their nice bread etc hadn't been put out. Is…

Where to buy tinned tuna in olive oil ?
Hi all. Really disappointed to see Sainsburys have stopped their own brand tuna in olive oil 4 pack. The only 'oil' tinned tuna I've been able to locate in the main supermarkets is sunflower oil which I don't like nor want (nor the brine or spring water ones). Does anyone know anywhere mainstream that sells it please?

Rollercoaster prices confirmed by Which ?
Supermarket product's best buy dates exposed as prices yo-yo depending on day (msn.com) It seems that pretty much all of the supermarkets are doing this yo-yo pricing. OK if it's normal price v offer price, but just putting prices up and down by over 100$ seems pointless, Anyone spotted this in supermarkets ?

Tesco Delivery Saver - Is it worth it?
I have been on the Tesco Delivery Saver for a while now but have looked deeper into this service. According to the rules you need to make sure your checkout is over £40 for free delivery. However this rule applies to anyone. So if you spend over £40 a week on groceries every week, the delivery saver fee isn't worth it. I…
