Estate Agents Solicitor
Any advice on taking up the offer of free H.I.P. when using EA own solicitor( to sell!) Am I right in thinking this is not a good idea and getting my own solicitor and paying for HIP would be cheaper anyway. Would be gratefull of any thoughts on the matter.

Found the perfect house - not even got ours on the market yet!
This is the first house in over 2 years me and the missus have both agreed we'd love to sell up for. I'm not sure if most people decide to move by putting there house on the market first and then look around, or look around first to find *the* house which makes you want to put yours on the market?! If I understand…

Buyer delaying exchanging until completion
Is this normal? Our buyer assumes she will exchange and complete on the same day to avoid paying the 10% deposit. We don't really want that much deposit, but want her to exchange so that the deal is sealed - we're supposed to be moving in a fortnight and as a natural worrier, I want to know for sure it's going through.…

BBC Look East News item re EA email contract?
Did anyone see this item? I gathered it hinged around the client accepting a sole agent contract by replying to an email which had the contract attached - she didn't sign the contract, simply replied to the email.
