The best 'safe', hassle free ISA that accepts transfers
Hi guys, Apologies for the new thread, but I'd like to be able to get a new ISA account setup and ready for when my Icesave compensation certificate is received. After just reading this thread I'm not so sure I wish to invest in Principality any more - especially after remembering that the only bank charge (£30) I've ever…

Should I move my ISA from NS&I?
They have dropped their rates so much over the past year, when it was over 6% when I joined. Now it's a poor 3.3%. Is it worth the hassle moving it? And if so, where to? Info on ISAs right now is so confusing with all the interest rate cuts and a further cut expected in December.

Info on ISA's
My wife and I have had an ISA each for the last 2 years with NS&I but their interest rate is now down to 3.3%. I have thought about tranferring our money to better paying ISA's. Why do some accounts not accept transfers, and if not is it a simple matter of closing the existing NS&I accounts down, having the money put into…

Advice on multiple ISA Accounts
Hi, I was hoping to get some savings advice. I have an ISA account from a previous year, but I have not used any of my £3600 cash allowance for this year. I plan to open a fixed term ISA with Bradford & Bingley, for which you have to deposit £3600 on opening the account. However this account does not allow transfers from…

Northern Rock Fixed - is it worth a transfer attempt.
Hi I opened a 5 year fixed rate at 6% with this years allowance. I was hoping to transfer previous years from Icesave which hopefully we will get shortly. ISA vs Mortgage Overpayment Dilemna
I have a fully flexible mortgage which allows overpayments and gives the facility to draw back on FOC as and when I want. So if overpay by 10k tomorrow I can get it back next week if I want it. My mortgage is fixed for 7 yrs at 5.35% so I have previously been filling my ISA at 6%+ rather than overpaying on the mortgage.…

ISA maximum deposit question
I have an ISA (current tax year) with a balance of £2603. I've only actually deposited £2600 into it, the £3 is interest. [I'm sure this will have been answered before…

Transfers - Are Nationwide that bad?
