Tax Credits rebate?
I've just made my tax credits declaration for 08-09. We received no tax credits in the year as we are paying back a previous overpayment. However our actual income for the year was 9k less than estimated (actual £30,018, estimated £39007.07). Are we likely to get a rebate? And if so, will this be a lump sum or added to our…

Hi I have recently been made redundant and have signed on for job seekers allowance. To my horror I am only entitled to £62.00 a week and I don't have to pay council tax. Read this if you have an overpayment
I have been told twice in the last 4 years that I had an overpayment of both Child and Working Tax Credits, first time of £700, and last month of £3,500! The reason for both was the same, and may help some of you who, like me, simply don't understand why. I have always rung in for every change in circumstances, increase in…

Overpaid JSA, but gave correct info
I got a letter today saying i was overpaid JSA in May. Apparently they'd paid me for me and partner, even though partner was receiving a conts based Giro separately. I'm paid into bank and it's all swallowed by direct debits so i hadn't noticed the overpayment, and it was around the time we'd waited for money so if it…
