Song finder
Hello again. I had a song on an old tape recorder which I never knew the title but know most of the words. Unfortunately the machine was thrown away many years ago but this one record has alluded me for years since the late 60s. I have sent the lyrics to many knowledgeable music people but none can identify it. It wasn't a…

Are there any Free Spotify Subscription offers anywhere?
Was trying to see if I could get Spotify Premium but cheaper than £10 a month. I did have a student account but they then stopped accepting NUS Extra cards so the full price is £10. I know in the past one or two of the mobile phone operators offered Spotify Premium with an account but they seem to have stopped doing this…

Music player app that only scans one folder?
Music dudes.... I'm sure a lot of you have music on your phone? I'm trying to find a player app that doesn't scan my entire phone and load every tiny audio file into the player. It just messes up the player with nonsense files that don't belong to any album or aren't even music. I've looked around a bit, but it's going to…

Music accounts for charities?
Hi all. I'm a Youth Worker and it's costing me a fortune buying up-to-date songs for the iPod to keep the music fresh for the young people. I've looked at Spotify/Amazon etc and I'm not sure we could afford to/justify paying that much a month. I've looked around to see if there are any reduced rates for charities but can't…

Noticed a glitch in You Tube which enables you to edit/add/remove/reorder third party playlists.
Noticed a glitch in You Tube which enables you to edit/add/remove/reorder third party playlists. YT allows you to create your own playlists and add other peoples playlist to your profile, but normally you cant edit third party playlists. It wasn't until I tried to do this on my desktop that I realised you couldn't do this…

Unofficial Chance of Cheaper Verb-atim CDRs on Amazon
Now that the once unsurpassed 'Taiyo Yuden' (yes, I know... hardly a household name, but there you go!) have bitten the dust, some people say the best CDRs you can buy today are by Verbatim. My favourite pick are AZO Cdrs, rated for archival purposes for 100 years. Others, however, believe the currently more expensive…

Buying CD Albums
Where's the best place/website to buy CD albums. The supermarkets - Tesco etc. concentrate mainly on the charts, with Tesco.com having a surprisingly sparse 'back catalogue'. HMV, are probably the best for the range available in-store (maybe now the only national retail option! Is Amazon the only option for older material?…
