basement flats
I'm going to look at a flat/maisonette tonight, and on paper it looks great. My only reservation is that it is on the ground and lower ground floors. What are people's opinions on lower ground floor flats? Would you buy one if it was good value for money?

As the thresd title suggests i'm thinking of renting out the property i own and have a residential mortgage on. Whats the score with informing my lender? Is the only mortgage i have if that makes any differance? Is it just a case of letting them know and getting the nod or is it more complicated than that?
