Almost two years ago: I hit the back of a car on the motorway The car I hit, hit the one in front of it (no visible damage) My insurer said I wasn’t covered because I was coming home from work (my bad, didn’t realize that was a thing) After a year a half I receive a bill for 11k.…

Auto aid renew despite telling them not to
Just had a big surprise when Auto aid renewed this morning. Advised them last year by email. And again this year by email. In desperation cancelled today through the website but they are taking a £25 fee from cancellation. Customer service is awful. Bank said they will putthe payment into dispute. Anything else I can do ?

No response from other parties insurance company after six months.
Six months ago I was hit from behind while stationary at a roundabout by a young lad driving far too fast for the conditions. It was dark and raining heavily and he ended up locking up and skidding into the back to me. Luckily the damage was fairly minor, but still required a couple of weeks in the repair centre for a…

Insuring a Vacant Property awaiting sale
A relative may soon be moving into care and so have to sell the home she owns. She may have to leave it before it is sold, leaving it vacant meanwhile. LV's defence of high prices
I called LV about my car insurance as the renewal was higher than other 5* companies for the same thing asking if they could lower the price to compete or I'd have to leave. Their agent told me "we can't, times are hard and we need to watch the pennies" . How good does that sound to the general public trying and often…

LV Home Insurance not renewing
Had an email from LV saying that they will not be renewing our home insurance (buildings and contents). They said they…
