Hi, sorry I haven't updated, I have been taking life at a much slower pace.
Dgd is still homeschooled ( slowly). Her referral to Cahms has been turned down. Dgs1 has had the OT assessment and she recommends moving forward to a full paediatric assessment and the school have finally started to fill in the Autism assessment requests. My Mum is doing well, although she hasn't left her home for 12 months now. She still coughs and uses her inhaler. But she didn't have any winter chest infection s this year which is a bonus. Dgs2 is a happy and funny little lad and well liked at Nursery. I am slowly starting to take some work back on, but I don't intend to do much until September when dgs2 goes to Nursery full time. With lockdown I have been concentrating on doing down the debts. I have managed to pay off £5,000 in the last 6 months. I have also just sold my campervan now that DS snd Twin2 are sharing a static caravan.
DS has moved from Dominos to a drivers buddy in a delivery company and finally on £9 an hour and full time work. Biggest is working full time again and the children are dividing their time between her and their Dads. My only concern is Twin1 who is struggling living with the in-laws for so long now. My magic wand would find them a home of their own. I am just waiting for a couple of customers to drop off some work and then I will go outside to do some work. Unfortunately my Ring doorbell is not working or I would be out there now. So I have just been pottering and doing some things in the house.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
It's always good to hear from you Savvy. It's even better to know that things are still heading in the right direction for you and your family. Hopefully, the weather will soon head the same way and allow us all to get outside more too.
It's not difficult! 'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner. 'Wonder' - to feel curious.
I have struggled to find this thread since I stopped updating.
Just thought I would give a little update. we are on a much more even keel. The daily routines are becoming the normal. dgs1 still has major issues but his OT therapy is due to start tomorrow. It's been a long time coming. DGD has started Equine therapy and also had her first zoom meeting with a psychologist. Let's hope we can help her. twin 1 is still in Kent, hardly get to see her but plan to go down at half term. twin2 has been suffering with gallstones so has spent quite a bit of time back here, but is currently at the caravan she rents with DS. DS has a new job as a courier driver.
Biggest has a promotion in the offing in her newish job.
The wee one is growing daily, talking non stop, is very cheeky, funny but boy has he also got a scream on him when he doesn't get his own way. My ears have taken quite a bashing ! I am only doing a very few jobs as meetings, childcare etc takes up a lot of my time. My mum is not doing too badly, all though I would say she is a lot frailer, but at 85 she's still living on her own, has not been away from her house in 14 months and considering is doing well. We talk on skype daily. I do her bits and pieces on a Saturday but Biggest is sorting out a cleaner as Mum can't see the dirt etc anymore.
My job now is to get the clutter sorted out as it's starting to get out of hand with my always being on the go here or there or working in the cabin. still single. Finally getting over the old BF.
Covid19 helped as not able to have seen him due to bubbles etc. Not sure I can be bothered about any more relationships. Kids are enough at the moment.

I've just come downstairs to make a drink and take some painkillers Barely slept in the past week too hot and humid triggers the pain.
I've just looked at the date and I think it's your birthday SS. I may be a day or so out but I do remember us all sending the birthday wishes . Hope all is well. I've put this thread back in my bookmarks no idea how it disappeared.
I miss us all posting daily but understand you have a lot to do.
Take care and the same to our friends here.

It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
Morning, Thankyou so much for the birthday wishes! I am 60 today!
There is indeed a lot going on in my life! The boys are both a handful, but they are also a delight at times. I will give you an update tomorrow as I am just about to do some sewing while the boys are in holiday club. xxx
