Not sure VM would be concerned that funding was from savings rather than income. After all it is just a one off £1,000 for each account. A greater concern would be that they limited the number of accounts.

To be fair to wiseonesomeofthetime, earlier in this thread more than one contributor was openly stating that they had managed to open more than this no. of them and other posters, not realising the possible implications, were saying well done etc.

I emailed Virgin recently for clarification on this issue, and they confirmed that there is no limit on the number of Virgin current accounts that a customer may have.

It seems they are changing the name of the Virgin Money current account "Our Virgin Money Current Account will soon be changing to be the M Plus Account. Don’t worry, it’s just a name change. Everything else stays the same."
