Just had a bridge done paid private and not happy with it am anxious when going back to dentist how to approach it Do not want to get the dentist anti towards me but can’t live with it as it is any suggestions please

If a larger practice then you could make your views known to the practice manager.
Whatever- if the bridge is wrong then you just go back, maybe with a list of the problems. If you have paid for something that isn't correct then you are entitled to have it fixed/ replaced, this is especially important if the device is in your mouth! It possibly means that you can not eat or talk properly
Long ago I had a dental plate that was really uncomfortable, didn't fit etc. I complained to the manager, switched dentists and got a refund

If there is a problem he must make it right for you then he can take it up with his supplier if he wishes.
Not until that had happened should he have offered any opinion.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
