TUI not paying for Compensation.

We were delayed in Jamaica last September for 27hrs, we applied for compensation from TUI and eventually they confirmed that our compensation claim had been accepted, on the 9th November 2019.
On the email is also stated the amount that they were to compensate us. Since then we have contacted them on numerous occasions by telephone but get told that the Accounts Department were processing it after the first cheque was "lost in the post" and they had to cancel the first issued, before another could be issued.
It is now 6 months after the delay and the cheque has still not arrived.
Does anyone know how we can pressure TUI into sending us our money or who we can contact, that will help us?
Many Thanks

Thought i should leave an outcome.
We sent TUI a LBA (for those like me who don't know what a LBA is, It's Letter Before Action and templates can be found all over the web) and sent it registered next day signed for, and that seemed enough to get them to send us a cheque which arrived about 17 days later.
So very happy and thank you to JPears for his help in this matter.
To all those out there, still trying to get their money back, do not be a nice guy because you are dealing with thieves. Send them a LBA as soon as the 14 days are up and start the legal battle because that is all they understand and respond to.

We had a  Tui delayed flight on February 15th , 23 hours and 10 minutes from London Gatwick to Barbados , where we were meeting a P&O ship .
on the ship we were all given letters stating how much we would get and who to contact, I tried to fill the form in online but for some reason it would not recognise my booking reference so I telephoned them , I have since written two emails with no reply and have not received any emails or anything else from Tui regarding this matter, I wonder if anyone could advise me what I should do now , it is so frustrating .

I think you're going to need to be a bit patient for a while.
