Thanks for the heads up about the pasties, OH will deff like them then. They are now on our meal plan for Sat evening - a bit of a CBA dinner - will serve them with beans or something I expect. Didn't actually think about the packaging but yes you're right about the lack of plastic. Locally we have a good recycling scheme which seems to accept all kinds of plastic (incl the black trays that some don't) but I'm never sure about how much really gets processed vs rejected - like when they say things need to be rinsed but not spotless....where is the line between ok rinsing and not ok? It's all a bit of a minefield.
