I used to be a support worker looking after the mentally disabled/challanged. I got into a bit of trouble from stealing a service users check book and righting checks to myself. It started small and it got out of control. I was the services users key worker so handled all his money but when I become preggers innit I was on leave so another staff did his ledger and found discrepancies and reported it to team manager. I waz arrested for fraud by abuse of position.
I was finally court out but it was a wight of shoulders. I got taken to court and plead guilty and given a community order as I have 2 kids under 5, one only 9 months old. I was sacked from job. I had a letter off the nationwide and they said they was closing my account in 28 days. it is hard opening a new bank account even basic one. I tried 4 banks, TSB, Natwest, Santander and llydes. I am finding this very stressful as need a bank for my ESA and child benefit to be paid into. This is adding more stress. which bank can I open?

Apparently benefits can be paid to a prepaid card or a credit union account, perhaps those may be an option for you

If you’re unable to open any of these accounts, contact the office responsible for paying your benefit to find out how you can get your benefit paid to you.

If you are unwilling or unable to open an account for payment of your benefit, the DWP will pay you using the Payment Exception Service.
The Payment Exception Service uses a system called i-movo. You'll be able to collect your benefit from a PayPoint outlet in local shops and newsagents. You can search for your nearest store on the PayPoint website.
The DWP will send you vouchers by text message, email or post. You'll need your voucher, a memorable date and proof of ID in order to collect your cash. The DWP does not need your agreement in order to pay you in this way, so if you cannot or do not wish to be paid into an account, the Payment Exception Service will be the only other option. Find out more about the Payment Exception Service on the GOV.UK website.

Aye, a serious thread I am sure.
Probably but two potentially useful posts from jackieblack for someone looking for a way to handle opening an account or receiving benefits where they do not have an account.
Anyway, thanks to jackieblack for helping the woman.
"Righting checks":rotfl: etc. innit.
"which bank can I open?" I would 100% guarantee that the Toytown Bank would be more than willing to provide you with an account.
You have messed up here... those 4 bits i have highlighted are a very obvious attempt of you trying to get into "character" and overdoing it!. If you had written those parts normally then most people probably wouldn't have questioned your authenticity but it makes it so obvious :rotfl:
