    I looked at the ones referred to in the OP in Sainsbury's yesterday and although a large quantity for the price, they looked under-ripe and unappetising. They had much better quality ones in smaller packs, at a higher price.

    350g of strawberries are £2 at Morrison's, or two for £3.

    You can buy 1Kg (1000g) of British Malling Centenary strawberries in Morrison's for only £4. They are big and delicious and they are an even better bargain :D

    I've been buying the 800g packs from Sainsburys for only £3 and they've been great. Add some clotted cream produced round the corner here in Cornwall by a lady with just half a dozen Jersey cows and made in her kitchen, and there is nothing better!!!
