Any recommendations for a game for 2 30+ adults to play on their balcony in Greece whilst relaxing on holiday?

Our current favourites that are small enough to pack in a suitcase are 7 Wonders Duel, Patchwork, Star Realms and Jaipur. If you don't really have experience of games outside of the 'family classics', start with Jaipur because it is very straightforward. If you like chess or backgammon even slightly, I'd also recommend Onitama.

  • Here are some good ones off the top of my head:

    Takkenoko
    Colt Express
    Lords of Water Deep
    City of Remnants
    Resistance
Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards
    Tsuro
  • A good game thats simple to learn and is good fun is Mexica.

Mexica plots the development of the city of Tenochtitlan on an island.
Players partition the land into districts, place buildings, and construct canals.
