  • Get him an active hobby or learn an instrument and tell him to not waste hundreds of hours of his life in a completely pointless online game. Yes it's an escape and kids like the be moody but he may thank you one day!

Sometimes people don't even have to do the cheating themselves, it could be a friend (keep in mind this could be an online friend who they don't really know) who has done it and shared the rewards with them.

Your child may not know how to create hacks, but that doesn't stop them trying to download programs that can help with cheating in game. I'm not farmiliar with Fortnite to know about the cheats available, but cheats for many other games are extrmeley easy to find and install.

You are best off just getting your IP address changed and making another account. Just be sure to not link any of the same payment details to it, otherwise it will get locked again.

There is a small chance that the hack detection was a false-postive, but if Epic are not willing to help, then there is nothing else you can do, they are not required to unban the account.
  • I also have this problem Fortnite bans me hours after they help me retrieve my account from the hacker and change my email. Why epic? After almost 2 weeks of contacting you to retrieve my account you will ban me? JUST WHY DUDE I SPENT SO MUCH TIME grinding its 600+ wins. Need solution??

Well, Apex legends is out now, he can play that instead. Same business model, game is free but you can buy in game content.

    True, true.
  • He may have not hacked the game but he could be one of those kids who curses a lot in the chat and as a consequence he probably got banned, he maybe did not want to tell you though,
