Thank you so much for updating us Jack - it would have been nice to hear that your son and daughter were at your wedding - but at least you have had your lovely day - and wishing you good health and happiness for your future together xxx

Thanks, they were invited but didn't want to be involved as expected....
    Regards

That is such a shame. Hopefully one day they will be able to move on and be their own people and make their own choices.

Many congratulations. Super pleased that all your plans to get wed again worked out. Heres to many happy years together.

Thanks for the update Jack. Congratulations to you both, I wish you a long, happy and healthy life together.

Such a shame about your kids, your ex must have really done a number on them for them both to still be acting like this. I was 15 when my parents split up after my mum had an affair, and she moved out to live with the other man (my brother and I stayed with our dad). Even at 15, I knew that these things happen, and although I was upset for my dad, I held no ill will towards my mum or her partner, and went to their wedding.
Your kids really need to move on and accept the situation, they're not children any more.

Anyway, I hope you find somewhere nice to go to for your honeymoon.
    All the best.

Congratulations! You've come so far, it's great to see.

It's such a shame about your children, hopefully they'll eventually see sense but it can take a long time to see things clearly when it's someone close who's manipulating you.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Oh Jack, wonderful news - at last!
I particularly like that 13 October is the Feast Day of St Edward The Confessor, among others:
    Brouillards d'octobre et pluvieux novembre,
    Font bon d!cembre

    St-Carpus
    St-Edouard le Confesseur
    St-G!raud d'Aurillac
    St-Janvier
    St-L!obon
    St-R!ginbald
    St-Venance (Venant)

Very apt is that, I think, for all that you have gone through Jack -. given that this 'Confessor' means 'steadfast and noble in act and faith.' You continue to be all those things and have chosen a lady to match.
All blessings - and to the children. They'll come to you eventually, i promise.
