  There are debates over whether it's morally right for students to claim. The strikes earlier this year were at least partly down to pay disputes

  
  ...compare with claiming for delayed/cancelled flights and trains due to strikes.
  

  Also, in many cases students will not pay back their full tuition loan ... so it could be argued students are potentially claiming money they would never have actually paid.

  
  Maybe any compensation should be immediately paid to the Student Loans Company. Alternatively, perhaps claims should be made against the Student Loans Company under section 75?
