The last few weeks ive been going on Fridays at tea time.... its bliss! No more than a couple of trolleys before us at the checkout.

I find if I go just before 3 o'clock on a Friday it's quiet as people are picking their children up from school. Stock is usually good too as they're busy filling shelves for the evening rush.

Do a google search for your local aldi/lidl, and it will show you a bar chart of how busy it typically is for each day of the week."Google uses mobile phones' GPS location signals and WiFi to determine where its users are. It can then determine if someone has visited a store, and even which part of the store they headed to. For it to work, you have to have Location History turned on."
Mine shows the peak times (Lidle, Dalry Rd, Edinburgh) are all Sat/Sun afternoon, and 5-7 weekdays. No surprises there then ... :-)
