Found this on Twitter. It is spot on. Amazing that the MSE Journalists don't appear to have investigated this campaign properly.

There were two women on BBC Wales news this morning - as usual claiming that the Government were "stealing" £42,000 which they had paid in over 40 years of work -they were off to London for the demo. Hope it absolutely p******s down!!!

I'm a 50s woman (born in 1956) and certainly remember the hoo-ha when the increases were announced in the 1993 budget - and then well publicised in the media. OK, most ladies had a moan about the changes, but it did mean that they were discussed at length in the shops, at work, in the hairdressers, etc etc. No excuse for claiming ignorance - I assume that these misguided minnies are only doing that because they think that it bolsters their cause. It doesn't.
Could the equalisation of State pension age between men and women have been introduced differently? Of course it could - it should have been included in the 1975 Sex equality/discrimination act. That way, it could have been drip fed in as a 1 year increase each decade starting in 1985.
