I had a black box fitted to my car when I got my insurance last year, basically got my policy cancelled for speeding, never got caught by the police but by the black box.

So they cancel my policy and I cancel the direct debit, as I pay monthly. Cancelled it three weeks into the month and they've now sent me a e-mail saying that I have an outstanding balance. Which I assume is three weeks or a month worth of insurance.

I know I should just pay them but I'm still annoyed for getting it cancelled, it was completely my fault but I have paid so much and I'm basically skint after sorting out a new policy (which went sky high once I declared I had my policy cancelled) So I'm throwing a paddy.

How far will the company take it for a £80 outstanding balance if I don't pay?
