I have a student loan that was taken out in 2000 and there's still a lot left to pay.

I'm going to be moving abroad without definite employment in the next couple of months. I've been on the SLC website and there is a form I need to fill out. I need to provide evidence of savings that I will be living from. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what sort of criteria the SLC has for this? I don't want to state £x and then have to repay monthly as then I'll be really against the clock to find employment.

Appreciate it if anyone can shed some light.
