  • I have just stumbled across this thread. Haven't managed to read the 38 pages yet but I will!
I used to make a lot of fimo so will prob start with that.
SallyUK do you still need beads? I was given some few years ago and have never used them. If you want them to make jewellery to sell for your daughter you are more than welcome to them. Hope she is OK x x

    Hi Byebyedebthellolife

Good to see you posting! I am still making the jewellery for charity and in fact have another charity night to arrange for the 27th June.

I would really appreciate any beads if you don't mind?

My daughter started uni in September and absolutely loves it, thank you so much for asking.

    Hope you are well too?

    Sal
    Xxxx

Hi there, I'm just about to start making jewellery. Can any if you lovelies tell me of some suppliers for the actual packaging? You know the little see through bags/envelope type things so you can see the earrings/necklace etc?
I don't even know what you would call them to put in the search bar Lol. X

I usually buy mine from aliexpress, they're very cheap, but will take anything up to 6 weeks to arrive. If you don't mind paying a bit more and getting them within the week, there are usually lots of sellers on ebay:

Eta: they are usually called something like "earring display cards"

I'd love to start a mini jewellery shop in etsy or something. Just to cover costs or help fund future craft projects.

Still learning the ropes but I'd like to improve my wire wrapping and try out metal clay. Just need a good place to get the tools and supplies. Also would anyone know if it's best to practice on cheaper clay first?

If you use the following referral link, you can get your first 40 listings for free:

Have fun setting up your shop!

  • Hello all!

Not new to jewellery making (have been selling it for several years now) but started making it around 27 years ago, so had lots of time to try good and bad ideas!

If anybody would like to check my work, have a look on Facebook for Artemis Designs (my old page) and Hunter's Moon Pagan Jewellery & Gifts for my up to date page.

I like Chain Maille, beaded jewellery, jewelled candle holders, garden hangers, sun catchers, bracelets and lots more!

In the process of moving at the mo though - but looking forward to be able to finally have a Craft Shed and have all my things together.

Nice to meet you all already!!
