I'm still plodding along, and by that I mean waiting until Payday! I have £33.73 in my bank account to last me until Friday. Which should be doable as I have £12 in my purse too. I will be working all week, so there should be no spends! But I also need Christmas presents! So I should try to use this money first for some gifts. I will probably end up rounding down the account this afternoon and putting the 73p into the emergency account! :rotfl:
Oh no, that's terrible Nintud. Hope when a plumber does look at it, that it's a cheap and easy fix. Hugs to you.
Welcome Buffy! I'm sure Patman will see this soon and officially welcome you to our little gang and put your name on the list! It's scary knowing you are about to leave yourself without a money cushion!

I've added another little bit to mine....just rounding down the Bank Account....Hoping to be able to put in a bit extra during the Week...
Please can I join this challenge? I already have some savings (not sure how much at the moment) which I have been using as an emergency/pay off my loan early stash. I think a challenge like this will make me work harder and I would like to have the £1000 emergency and then seperately a sum to pay off my loan early.
Thank you for inspiring me so much!
October xx
Welcome October, the more the merrier! Patman will allocate you a number and add you to our little group when your post is seen

Ooooooh Eyebright....I definitely like the idea of splitting it into 1% chunks....so it's £10 per 1%? I'm not great at Maths!! LoL
Yup, £10 = 1%. I'm going to update my sig as well, so I can see easily how far I've got/got to go!
Made nearly £50 on ebay now, so will probably put £10 into my emergency account when I get home from work. Another 1% found!

Right....off to my Placement for the day (I'm currently Training to be a Psychotherapist)...and then I have a new Job to go to tonight...it's a Job that I used to work in and they phoned me on Friday and asked me to come back as they need extra Staff for Christmas....but might last longer than that...so we'll see....
But today is going to be a long old day....I'll be leaving around 8.15am and won't be back home until about 10pm tonight...Still, it should be productive at the very least
See you all later on xXx Keep on Saving Ladies and Gents...xXx
