I had that with Yodel and Amazon.
Parcel out for delivery on the tuesday, 10pm the driver lied on tracking and said delivery attempted/card left.
Contacted Amazon who instructed Yodel to deliver as a priority.
    It came Wednesday at 5:20pm.

I ordered online from Dunelm Mill and they used Yodel. The order tracking said they had attempted delivery but I was in all day (working from home) so no idea where they tried to deliver! I phoned up and was asked for directions and gave them in great detail. The next day they, apparently, tried to re-deliver but once again got lost. In the end I gave up and let them return to sender. I got a refund really quickly - this is probably the best way to send a message to the retailers.

Virgin Mobile also used Yodel to send me a replacement sim card. They found me ok this time so it seems to have an element of luck to it.

Nespresso use Yodel, If you order less than 200 capsules you have to pay £5 for the privalige too.

Not sure if it has been mentioned already, Eurocarparts use them too.

Asos use Yodel. I ordered a birthday present for someone a while back which went mysteriously missing for days and then magically reappeared.

The Asos Facebook page is full of people complaining about missing parcels.

I've stopped sending the pods back for recycling because they use Yodel to collect them. I got fed up of seeing the recycle bag by my front door for days because Yodel hadn't collected it.

Thanks to SJ_Jones for starting this useful thread.

As a victim of an incompetent Yodel delivery driver, I hope this thread features high on the search list when people google 'Yodel'.

I sent off a stinging email to a company on the list, to complain about the Yodel delivery problems I'd suffered. I demanded a refund of the delivery charge...............and it was refunded without quibble.

Here is what I'd like to see happen if a customer suffers inept delivery service from Yodel:

1 Customer emails supplier company and demands a refund of delivery charge.
2 Customer receives a refund without quibble.
3 Customer emails supplier company to advise that they will not purchase goods from them again, until they stop using Yodel.
4 Customer posts on MSE to name and shame.
5 The listed companies in post #1 read this thread and realise that they are losing business..............because they use Yodel for their deliveries.
6 Yodel train their employees and improve their performance and customer service............and if they can't be bothered, they go out of business.

I have had amazon refund delivery charges a few times because of Yodel muck-ups. I have since asked them to ensure that any goods I order are not dispatched by them.
