Hi
Well done on your sucess Droylie.
I'm hoping I won't end up with a court case but I would be very grateful if you could send me a copy of your claim for guidance.
Many thanks
After ignoring my various communications to them for 3 months, they finally sent me a form to complete in December. It's now nearly 5 months since my holiday and still I have heard nothing.
In view of the recent court case, I am wondering whether it is worth issuing a claim in the small court. It is just their complete lack of customer service that has really added insult to injury.
Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly - only just found out about this over the last fews days and have been umming and arring whether we had a claim or not. You make me feel so much more confident now about doing something about it :beer::beer:
My husband and I were also on that flight to Jamaica on 26th June 2012 and remember well the delay to our flight.
I managed to find both our boarding passes, these still inside both our passports and after taking a copies of these, sent all by recorded delivery. Within 3 days I had a response, a standard letter confirming reciept of my letter.
Since reading your post, I have just this minute spoken to Thomson, who confirmed they have recieved the letter and boarding passes and will be sending out a claim form.
I guess I can only wait and see, but will keep you updated.
Yes I used this address and sent mine by recorded signed for.
I was able to verify reciept by using Royal mail track and Trace, however did not need to do this as Thomson responded within a couple of days.
