i work for the Ministry of Justice at a Prison and have a Nuvos Pension.I know little about pensions and will be leaving the prison service very soon.
Bottom line is though,i'm in financial difficulty and REALLY want to access my funds and end this pension!
Apparently,Nuvos say i can only get to my money when i'm either 50 or 55 yrs, also, what makes it worse is i've been paying into it for 4 years?
They say if i decide to leave the scheme, the money will be frozen!
OR,i can transfer it to another pension, basically i just want my money back as i need it NOW,not frozen or put somewhere else! What annoys me is,its MY hard earned money,i'm broke and want it now.
ANY info much appreciated,
Thank You.
