weezl Just a couple of other questions, if you don't mind...
Do the cheese balls need to be made and eaten straight away or can they be stored?
Do you think if I made the oaty biscuits today, they would still be ok for Sunday?
How long do you think the savoury bites would stay fresh?
Is there a list somewhere of the other cakes/snacks?
I don't mind at all frankie I need reminding what's been done with a project this size, and so many recipes it's easy for stuff to slip through the net!
Cheese balls: DH likes them cold, but ISOM didn't, so I'm a bit unsure! You could get them as far as the stage where you've rolled them in the seasoned flour and then pause and just fry a few when needed? Keep your oil! (please!)
oaty biscuits, yes but I don't think you have an updated recipe shall I do that next?
savoury bites managed 10 days fine in a sealed tupperware, but they also froze well and defrosted in a morning in DH's lunchbox.

The pizza method is great weezl. Does the bread need to have the yeast put into water too or do I just mix it all in together? I'm starting that now.
you don't have to frankie, but as it's your first time, I'd say yes pop it in some warm water with a little sugar and wait for a reassuring foamy head to form, cos then we'll know it wasn't yeast problems if it goes a bit funny

Not sure where to put this now there are 2 threads....but the nut butter is very yummy!
goody goody
how smooth did you make it frankie? Did you rinse the salt or leave it on? We preferred the salty version here but we may just be being plebeian :D Was my method clear enough? xxx

Frankie I have devised an onion and potato soup for your DH to fill up on using the leftover stock, there is also lots of spare bread and an orangy spread (not a marmalade so can't call it that!) what kind of snack is best for DH?

weezl The nut butter doesn't seem too runny. I'm wondering now if it will be too firm once its been in the fridge, but we'll see. I left the salt on...yum yum! I found your method very clear.
The soup would probably be better for my DH. He's not a big carb eater, though he may fall in love with my bread yet!!!
The orange spread sounds nice as another choice for the rest of the family, though.
righty ho, will work on the soup and carbonara next then. Orangy spread just waiting for photo
I have edited post number 2 to reflect our aims with the planner, would appreciate any feedback people have about how I have worded it
