I'm afraid I have to declare £525.59 for October which is £75.59 over!!!
Well at least I know how much I spend now, quite a lot of that was on wine....mmmm.Not good!
But never fear, will reign it in for November as have to try and put some buy for Christmas food.
Going to work on £100 a week as do my shopping weekly, so that will be a total of £500 to do us for the next 5 weeks, up until Thursday 3rd December.
October's spends averaged out at £118.68 a week, so hopefully can better this amount.
Can anyone tell me how to make coloured words? They look so pretty!Cheers!

On the bars above where you type your reply you'll see an 'A' with a solid bar under it and a little down arrow to the right
Select the text you want to change the colour of, then click on the down arrow. Now just click on the colour you want to change your type to.
For setting budgets or declaring final monthly spend you should set the text to red - and also best if you make it Bold (the 'B' to the left on the row below the text colour changer if your not in the Quick Repy box at the bottom of this screen, second in from the left if you're in Quick Reply).

Hi everyone, that's me declaring at £424.92, yup 8p saving. To be fair it would have been more but I picked up a few bargains last night. In Tesco the frozen pork shanks in creamy mustard sauce are reduced from £4.48 to £1.12 and the Youngs mediterrean fish dish is now 75p.In the co-op I picked up loads of reduced milk and the chunky Kitkats were down to 10p,so picked up a couple or so,more like 20,
"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."
Going to call it & declare £127.92 for October! :T Really happy as better planning this month meant less expensive 'top-up' shops. There were still some hit-and-miss times and I STILL struggle with lunches, but I'm going to try buying a wee bit more meat next month so we can actually have some leftovers rather than all I cook going into dinners (so 1 recipe creating 2xdinner plus a lunch rather than just 2xdinner IYSWIM). Have a massive shop being delivered on Friday to start us off for November. It's about £10 more than last month's monthly but I'm trying really hard to ACTUALLY stock up! Damn cat food costs the most of it
Since there's 5 weekends in Nov () we'll keep it at £150, please!
