After staying away from Tesco for a couple of weeks, I decided to head off to get some of the butter spread with 50 extra points.

However the extra points are nowhere to be seen on my receipt, do they show up at a later date?

    Many thanks

This confuses me aswell, I haven't intentionally bought anything on the bonus points list but even if I had by accident I wouldn't know just by looking at the receipt :rotfl:

Got my puppy pack this morning, of which my dog started licking the dog on the cover of it ~ too cute!

1 x 25% off 1kg box of Pedigree Puppy Complete (a different looking box but costs £2.51)
2 x 25% off 3kg bag of Pedigree Puppy Complete (again, different box but costs £5.54)
Going to try 2 of them anyway tomorrow and see what happens. Never used % off coupons before!

...I have started squirrelling away a few bits and bobs of MOC-purchased non-perishables for Christmas, but am currently concentrating on gathering THE ESSENTIALS (gin, wine, beer, cider, jars of dorito dips, jars of olives etc) for our forthcoming self-catering boating holiday. There's quite a lot, so I hope we don't sink.
Hope you enjoy your boating holiday C J. We went on one Spring Bank to Warwick paid for with clubcard deals of course :D - where are you going?

After Mad posted the other day about starting to stock up for Christmas, I thought ooh that's a good idea, I'll get organized this year on the food front and get a bit each week. But then I sat and thought about it, and really I don't buy anything much extra over Christmas than I normally do. Surely I can't be the only one  Ok I do normally buy some peanuts, but that's usually about it.

Oooh, I have heaps of extra expenditure (but then I go a bit crazy at Christmas time!). Last year I started shoe-horning a few little non-perishable extras into my Tesco shops from about July onwards - tins of goose fat for the roast potatoes, a jar of luxury marmalade (for the marmalade steamed sponge pudding and custard, an alternative to Christmas pud), tinned white crab meat and a jar of red caviar (as part of the seaford tian starter) etc etc etc. Not to mention the wine, beer, port, champagne, cointreau, Kahlua, Baileys and bottled water. (Except I just did) :)

Smoked salmon freezes well, as do fresh herbs and packs of lovely French unsalted butter.

Yes it was the £1.24 spread and also the milk, nothing extra showing at all, should I go back to the store?
Daft question but did you get any points? Was your clubcard accepted?
You need to buy 2 x milks to get the points but the spread worked for me with 1.

Thanks, jefery :) We're mucking about on the Norfolk Broads, where Mister C J will assume the role of Skipper and do all the hard work while I shall drink G&Ts, be critical, and act as mobile ballast (and prob get shouted at for standing in the wrong place**). All paid for with clubcard points too :)

We've done the narrowboat trip up the Kennett and Avon, and also the one in Llangollen which was spectacular when going over the aqueduct!

**this also happens when putting up the caravan awning.

Another way to get extra points and money off is to join the Tesco clubs. You get sent every 3 months (I think) a club booklet which usually has money off things and extra points coupons in. I have just received my Healthy Living Club booklet this morning and it has coupon for double points on my next shop, just scan the coupon at the checkout before 30 August and 25p off fresh vegetables. Usually has more, like money of milk and veg and extra points. Here's the list for those who haven't joined them all. Maybe these clubs could be on the 1st page or something, as you do get money off coupons, but only for Tesco's  Will leave it up to you thanks Honey
