Problems with Internet driving me mad!!

I've been having problems with my internet (or at least I think thats what it is) for a few days and it's driving me mad. I was wondering if someone could help me resolve the problem

When I'm logged into Facebook using FireFox and try to play MindJolt games, Mob Wars or anything like that, the page shows the facebook bars at the top and bottom of tha page but nothing in the middle.

If I click the "Home" button, some of whats meant to be on the page shows up, but not all of it.

When I try to use Internet Explorer, nothing shows up on the page

I've tried clearing the cookies, temp internet files and all the obvious, but nothing seems to be working

I sorry i Dont have an easy answer but facebook has been playing up for weeks.

It sounds like you may be missing a required plugin. See if you are missing anything obvious with an Online Plugin Check provided by the University of Texas.

Everything was working fine until Friday evening and there has been nothing changed on my PC

That doesn't mean they haven't upgraded the version required to play the game and you still have an old one installed.

I ran that link you gave me and it told me I haven't got adobe flash player, but I know 100% that I have

I dont think you understand the problem.

None of the page comes up, only the facebook bars at the top and bottom, and when I hit the "home" button at the top to go back to the main facebook page, what I was trying to look at comes on, but just not all of it and it doesn't work properly

I checked it at my local library today and it worked fine, just seems to be my PC/internet

Firefox won't let me download flash as it won't let me get on the website to do it

Thinking about just breaking my computer up now and getting rid of the internet, thanks for all the help anyway

Have you tried through internet explorer?
If firefox wont let you download flash then somethings clearly blocking it somehow. What 'plugins' do you use?

Nothing that I know of, I only downloaded firefox Saturday

OK, so I downloadad Adobe through IE and youtube is working on Firefox now, but the pages that weren't working before still aren't

Think I'll call it quits and not bother

firefox uses a different plugin to ie

(Version 9 as version 10 can sometimes not work properly)

Or it could be you need to use the removal tool and start afresh

your call. But i personally wouldnt be happy with a computer that doesnt run as it should
