Onetel Walk-n-Talk Card new connection charges

I have had a Telco (now taken over by Onetel) Walk-n-Talk card for several years and yesterday I received a letter from Onetel enclosing a new card which takes effect on May 1st. What shocked me is that they have introduced a 15p connection charge for calls made from UK landlines which now makes the card an expensive way to make personal phone calls from work. Does anyone know of alternative calling cards that are not expensive as I'm planning to cut this one up and send it back to them with a suitable covering letter telling them where they can put it :-)
