I've seriously overestimated how many sprouts were needed. They are currently uncooked, any ideas on what to do with them? Can I part cook then freeze them?
LOL - if the River Cottage christmas special is being repeated then have a look at that - sprout fritters and "Sproutsa Verde" were two of the options. How about shredding them finely for a stir fry, or cutting into quarters, cook lightly with chestnuts and a knob of butter at the end......I'm not keen on sprouts as sprouts but will happily eat them once tarted up a bit!

Christmas is suppose to be season of peace and love, being nice to each other , then why wherever you go why do they serve sprouts ?
You have to hide it in a potatoe and gulp, before it gets you
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
In my local Asda last night they were selling off bags of sprouts yellow stickered for 1p. I bought 4, thinking one for this week's meals and then I could blanch and freeze the rest.
Do you think they'd last frozen until Christmas dinner, or will I need to eat them before?

There's an earlier thread on freezing sprouts so I've added your post to it to keep the replies together.
This thread might give you some ideas for using them up:
spruce up your sprouts
