Hoorah!

It only took me 24 years, but I finally got a £50 prize from my Premium Bonds!

Perhaps next month it'll be the million!

Absolutely, cant be arsed doing the calculations, but must be an interest rate of roughly 0.0000000000000000000000000003%.

  • Did you just find out? I thought you were meant to find out at the beginning of the month?

    I received 3 x £50 cheques yesterday.
I do have the maximum amount of bonds though.

write and complain to them that you have only won once in 24 and I bet next month you get another £50 . I have heard others have done this and surprise they get a £50next month in the post.

I'm 35 and have had a few quid in Premium Bonds since I was born.

I have won the grand amount of diddly-squat. £0!

There was a phase a few years ago when writing to them seemed to produce a lot of winners - but I tried it and still didn't win!

Anyone who has bonds from when they are children should make sure their address details are up to date and if you have any winnings that went to the worng house, they will still sned them to you! :o
There - in that place; they're - they are; their - owned by them.
If you have nothing constructive to say, just move along.

I bought £5000 in premium bonds last October in additon to £1000 already held for about a year which had done nothing.

Won £50 in January and another £50 in February.

You can check whether you are a winner on the 3rd or 4th of the month on the nsandi web site. You just need to enter in your Holders Number. The actual cheque for the smaller amounts does not arrive until later in the month.

I am quite happy. Hope this winning streak continues but starts to get larger. Am I greedy or what?

According to the NSI web site the odds of winning any prize are 24,000 to 1. The odds for a £million are 13 billion to one.
Its going to be a long wait !
