£26.99 with £25 of virgin top-up
just enter
http://www.virginmobile.com/lifestylerewards into your browser.
Find your phone (I tried it with Nokia 1100 - but others available) and click 'BUY' not 'More Details'. Discounted phone with the Sim Pack (includes £5 Airtime) & £20 Airtime Voucher should now be showing (£26.99 for Nokia 1100 with £25 total airtime = a £1.99 phone with sim!!)

Hi trinnylilac,
You will probably get more replies to your thread on the mobile phones board, so I hope that you don't mind if I move your thread over there.

why not just buy a new battery? Should be a few pounds off ebay.
That said, the current O2 student 6030 offer for £30 is very nice indeed.0
