contract/tarriff advice needed

Hi wonder if anyone can help with some advice. My current contract which is on 02 but via the carphonewarehouse expires in november, im looking to change my phone and get a better deal, at present i have 02 100 plus a 200 text bolt on but still find my bills are coming in around 50 quid a month what im looking for is something that offers me at least 50 minutes a month and around 400 texts (im a text addict) a month. Carphonewarehouse have said they can do something about the tariff to make it cheaper but i also want the samsung D600 free as well and they have said it will cost me to upgrade the phone so now just trying to suss out my options anyone got any ideas to help me ..........

with that sort of tariff you may struggle to get the D600 free. have a look at o2's online tariff's, particularly the online 100. that will give you 100 x net minutes per month and 500 texts for £25pm. if you're currently paying £50pm then to be able to cut that in half should save you enough over the year (£300 or so if you stay within the amounts you've quoted - and that tariff has a little breathing space in both areas...) to justify a little outlay for the handset if you absolutely have to have the D600.
