D500 Help please!

We have a D500 which has some very important pictures stored on it. Only problem is, can't remember the p/w to access it. Does anyone know where we can go to retrieve the pictures? or how we could do it ourself?

any help would be appreciated as we'd really like to get the pix printed and sent off real soon.

Edit: I have just checked on the samsung site and got the manual. It is the password on the privacy settings. On there it says it is the same as the phone password - does that mean the p/w yu enter when you switch the phone on? 'cos that doesn't work, and i am sure it was a 4 digit p/w.

Also, anyone knows what will happen if you enter the wrong p/w to often? is there a limit and could i possibly wipe all our pictures and movie clips out

The standard password for the phone lock on my D500 is 00000000 thats 8 0's (numbers) Tell's you that in the manual

no, we've already tried that already. The phone has a p/w on it, but we used a different one for the privacy setting thing (to save pictures and movie clips being accidentally deleted) while on holiday ..... O/H's little neices and nephews kept messing with the phone :rolleyes:


Now seriously stuck as the phone has the only pics O/H and I took on the one day where we visited a wonderful waterfall together ... minus any kids. And we have no photographic memories now

You need a serial data cable for a D500 with external 9v battery. Make sure it is SERIAL as USB will not work and WINIMEI for the D500. I can e-mail WINIMEI and instructions if you require
