Hi Fellow MSE's,
I am really stressed out her and i am in need of some help. I have just ventured into the world of sat nav with a tom tom. So far i am chuffed to bits with it, i have found my way around quite a bit of it.
I am struggling on how to download the safety camera database. I have been on www.pocketgpsworld.com and the instructions there may as well be in a foreign language. I will be the first to admit i am not the most technologicly advanced person in the world but i can follow instructions.
Can anyone help me and explain this in a easier light?
Many thanks
Regards

Hi, its difficult to help as you dont say if you have tom tom navigator or go. For my navigator set up on pocket pc, you just place the speed camera overlays in the folder with the map files.

Here's the beginners guide on their forum... might be worth posting on their forum if you're having trouble as they're in the best position to help

I personally use their poiedit program and it does all the work for you...Smile... it's free0 -
sorry forgot to mention, as well as the overlays, you will need the bitmap files for the speed cameras in the same folder.0

I managed this fairly straight forward from the same site. If you haven't managed to get it to work, post back here and let me know.
I'll try talk you through it.0
