Buyer paid for same item 3 times !!

Hi I have just sold a small item for £4 + 50p p+p. The buyer has paid for this 3 times.ie I have 3 paypal transactions for £4.50 !!

Naturally I will refund the additional 2 payments but was wondering if this may be a trick of some sort or just a plain old mistake

I can't see how anyone could make that mistake, so I thought I would hold onto the money and run it past you guys first.

Why not ask him?

He can reverse it too I think.

Just make sure he does not do all three.

I just paid three times for the same item myself, no it's not yours.

I won an item and paid, then the seller sent me an invoice so I ended up paying twice. (dont ask)

Tried to get him to refund the payment but he ended up sending me another item and another invoice.

So now I have two items and three invoices, but as it was a really good deal I decided to pay the third invoice as a sign of good will.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Seems the buyer has had problems with their server. I think I can do a refund through paypal.

View the transaction pages for the duplicate payments in Paypal and click the Refund link at the bottom to action the refund.
