Newbie 0% credit card question

I have just got my Egg Money card as a first step in organising a loan on a 0% credit card. Next step is to get the 0% balance transfer card.

The trouble is that the last question on the Virgin application is "Do you want to transfer a balance?". The previous one was "What cards do you hold and what is the balance?" I obviously have a zero balance on the Egg card (and other lousy interest cards).

Obviously I can't lie on an application, but what have other MSEs done on this application? I can't say "I've got no balances but want to transfer £X000, can I?

If Virgin is a no-go, what other easier cards would MSEs recommend?

Don't put your Balance Transfer request on the application form, but request it when you call them to activate the card.

Now Virgin is a SBT (Super Balance Transfer) card so they will transfer the money straight to your Bank Account anyway when you request it, so you don't actually need to use Egg Money as a mule in this case.
