Advice on Three

Hey All,

i was just wondering if anyone had any experience of ordering online with Three?

I placed an order online on Tuesday night for a new phone and got a web reference number. It said I would receive a confirmation email, but as such I haven't received one yet.

Does anyone know how long this should take? I made sure i typed the right email address and the confirmation on screen said that my order had been accepted.

Any thoughts?

  • I read elsewhere that this has happened to some people, but the phone turns up. You could try emailing them and see what happens or phone customer services. They are not as bad as everyone makes out.
  • Hi gorilla,

Thanks for your reply. I got a call from them this morning saying that i have sucessfully passed their credit and security checks and all i had to do to get my phone and be connected was to pay a £150 security deposit.

Very weird. I told them to stick it.

So i went back to the carphone warehouse, who had orginally quotes me £205 to upgrade to a nokia 6680, and they said I can have to phone for £95 with a £45 cheque back on the 4th month of my new contract, but they wont charge it to my bill they want payment up front.

Is it just me or do monile phone companies not realyl care about keeping there
customers? It feels like if I was a new customer i can have all singing and dancing packages, but to stay them as a customer they don't want to know. I said to them i could get it free from mobilephoneshop.com with double mins and texts and he told me to cancel and go for it.

Not very good customer loyality is it?

    Ta
