Received this email below from Paypal & tried completing all the steps needed to lift the limit.
'3 Jun. 2008: You have received a total amount of £650.00 GBP or more in payments to your PayPal account in less than a year since you started using your PayPal account. When you receive a total of £1,700.00 GBP, you will no longer be able to withdraw or send funds any longer until the completion of the required steps. Please complete the steps required to lift your limit'.
They sent the 2 deposits to confirm my credit card, but wouldn't accept them when entering the 2 amounts. After the 3rd attempt they said the card was to be removed & i must either fax a drivers licence & credit card statement to them or add another card.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes I had a similar message a couple of weeks ago the only difference was that I was never the two deposits. After many phone calls they allowed me to fax confirmation but this took over a week for them to apply. I have had a message today stating that Paypal declined Ebay's request for fees (as normally pay through my Paypal account). Your case sounds a bit more straight forward as my account was placed in Limited status for almost two weeks where I could not bid on items or transfer funds!!0
