Our friends at Les Cygnes have offered a week in one of their Poitou-Charentes holiday gites
Situated in the heart of Poitou-Charentes on the west coast of France, this picturesque region averages 2,250 hours of sunshine per year, making it the second sunniest region in France. You'll be staying in La Vigne, a beautifully converted 200 year old barn complete with a large sunken terrace with beautiful views overlooking the countryside and the village, including the Logis (a small 15th century castle). Eurostar 2 return Eurostar tickets from London to Poitiers
You will be leaving from Eurostar magnificently restored station, St Pancras International. On board, sit back, relax and watch the country side roll by. An easy connection will take you to Poitiers. The whole journey takes just 5 hours and 40 minutes.
A week's bike hire
