Paypal and with holding funds

I've got 44 feedbacks - only 17 as a seller, all my DSR's are 5 but i sold a baby seat for £34 plus postage.

The buyer paid by paypal, got an email from paypal saying send the item, we will instantly let you have the funds once 21 days are up and no dispute has been opened or once the buyer leaves positive feedback.

Well the buyer left positive feedback this afternoon (auction ended Sunday) - and paypal still haven't released the funds

This happened to anyone else?

I think its pretty standard with paypal now. I've recently sold a stack of items and at some point during listing a message appeared from paypal that the money would be held until positive feedback had been left and 2 weeks or so had passed.

Personally I think its to save paypal the hassle of trying to get the funds back if something goes wrong, ie a scammer takes a stack of money via paypal then empties the account associated with paypal. Thats just a guess based on ebay/paypal latest behaviour! The changes they made claiming they'd listened to buyer feedback etc really mainly suit ebay as things will be easier to handle via automated "help". *!!!!!in session over*

Just had an email from paypal saying the funds are now avaliable - took 24 hours - hardky instant as they state!
