Probably answered a million times before but I have just read on another site that if you have put in a claim for charges on a current account then the account is in dispute?

My thoughts are that you are only putting the money you are claiming in dispute not the account and therefore in the case of a current account in OD interest and charges and account management charges will still be applied and if the the negative balance = the amount of claim, and is on hold (due to case) it will acrew further interest and charges and as such be liable for taking to court to get a ccj.
