Hi hope somebody can help i bought a television from toys r us it was bought on my cousins credit card it was a package deal with a wii and games the television as broke they offered me a new telly but now told me they don't have any more i have the receipt but my cousin no longer has the card she paid on they have offered me £400 in a credit note but they only have telly's for £700 which i can't afford they will put the money back on the card but will not give cash do i have any rights to ask for the money back in cash many thanks

No, if it was paid for on a CC, then they have to return it to the CC.
If they don't have the TV, or similar, then they as are refunding the money, you will be back in the original position as before buying TV, so I cannot see that you can do anything re the store, you will have to ,look elsewhere for a TV.
