Hi,
A family member (no, not me!) has recently got a job as a domiciliary care worker, doing roughly 25 hours per week. The job invloves a lot of driving, and hence a lot of petrol. Before the job she did not do hardly any driving and the petrol costs are starting bite. Petrol is currently paid for on a debit card, leaving the current account straight away. She does geta generous mileage allowance but this is not paid to the end of the month. Once the fuel allowance has been received, the card will be paid off in full. Therefore, the interest rate would not be an issue.
She is 53, a homeowner (no mortgage (divorce settlement)) and has never had a credit card or any sort of loan in her life, although I think she does have a £500 overdraft on her current account which has never been used.
Please could you help reccomend the best card for her. One of those cashback ones would be paticularly good!
Cheers

PS:
She would not qualify for Capital 1 cashback card as she needs to have held credit card for 5 years.
the other cashback one which is good is the Egg Money card

Seeing as she has never had any credit cards or loans, would she be likely to be accepted for the Egg Money Card?0
